I'm curious - I loved the dad and son trip away together, especially the part with the turtles at night, but if the crocs love feeding on them, how do you know which beaches are safe and which ones aren't? Or don't the crocs make it up to that island?

Just curious - what caliber was that rifle? I thought I heard you say it was a .22, but I'd find it hard to credit that a .22 could bring down a cow, not from that distance. Was it a .223?

Ha! I remember the tides in Broom very well. I was there many years ago and went out diving with a local dive operator - in the time he took to put the boat in the water and then go and park the vehicle and trailer the incoming tide had already come in by 5 - 10 metres from where we were originally standing. The whole point to the dive was to catch the waters at the ebb, but because we were half an hour late the dive turned out to be one of the worst I've ever had - I was a divemaster back then with something like 400 dives up my sleeve! The current was so strong that we couldn't swim against it, but basically grabbed the rocks and sand on the bottom to drag ourselves 'upstream'. Love the video clips - I only wish I could have done something similar with our kids while they were that young. Best of luck to you.

Hi there Trying to plan my second trip to South Australia, travelling from Melbourne. My first one was at Rapid Bay after seeing your video on it, and it was simply amazing especially since South Australia put its best weather on show during our stay. However now that I'm planning my next trip to Eyre Peninsula with an overnight stay in Adelaide I was wondering if you have a suggestion for an alternative to Adelaide's South Eastern freeway. What a horrible experience that was on the first trip. Luckily I ended coming back via Victor Harbour avoiding that horrendous road. But using it again will mean I add hundreds of KMs to my rout. Is there another way? Also since my first trip, I tried to identify some rules in the use of South Eastern Fway but I could only find some for trucks. Do you (or anyone subscribed to your channel) know if any such rules exist for Caravans or the same truck rules are for Caravans as well. Thank you for the amazing videos...
